I’m Carmina Monroe, an educator, blogger, lifestyle + wedding photographer based in Mount Horeb, WI. I am a wife of nine years, mom to three littles, homemaker, photographer, gardener and DIY type of girl. Nature is my inspiration and my backdrop, with limitless opportunities for making memories.
Photography allows me to preserve those precious moments with my loved ones, which is a gift I share with others! I am passionate about slowing down time – and savoring the moments with photographs.
My Why | Every person, couple and family are unique in their story! I love capturing images that express this in a joyful, genuine way. I also love celebrating couples on their wedding day by providing a seamless, detailed, and organized experience.
My Style | I would describe my style as light, genuine and joyful with creamy backgrounds, toned-down greens and occasional pops of color. The best photographs are captured in the moment – while your children are playing – when your bride is gorgeous and glowing – we call this lifestyle photography.
My Bio | Setting roots in the heart of Wisconsin, my days are spent in the homestead with my children. I enjoy thin crust pizza, gardening, and re-purposing old things to make them new again. Being a homemaker is truly a blessing. I can set a firm foundation for my family – and continue my love for photography!
